Credit Where the Bundle Earns It

Bizee, which spent its first decade under the name Incfile, gives registered agent coverage away inside its formation packages. The included stretch runs anywhere from a single quarter to a full year, set by which package a founder buys. That is not a gimmick. Someone forming a Georgia LLC this month has a real expense lifted out of the part of the calendar when cash is tightest, and the appointment does the statutory job perfectly well while it is free. If you are forming now and weighing formation offers, those months are a legitimate mark in Bizee's favor.

The Number That Starts When the Free Months Stop

Standalone, or once the bundled term expires, Bizee registered agent service is $149 a year.

Nothing about that is concealed. It is simply easy to lose track of, because the free window has no invoice attached to it and therefore leaves no reminder in your accounting. The transition from $0 to $149 happens on a date you agreed to at signup and probably have not looked at since.

Two habits protect you. Find the exact expiry date in your Bizee account and put it on a calendar with a month of warning. Then price the decision on $149, because that is the recurring figure and the recurring figure is what a multi-year appointment costs.

Five years of the standalone rate comes to $745. Five years of ours comes to $495, and the first of those five is not discounted, because none of them are.

Our Side, Written Out

Ninety-nine dollars a year in Georgia, renewing at ninety-nine dollars, with no bundled period behind it that later expires into something else. Leaving Bizee: What Georgia Charges to Change Agents

Cheap, and worth knowing before you commit to anyone. Georgia has no standalone change-of-agent form; you either name the new agent on the annual registration you file each spring, or you file the $30 amendment, Form CD 920, at any point in between. One timing note that trips up newly formed companies specifically. Georgia asks for no annual registration at all during your formation year; the first one falls due the following spring. New owners therefore often assume the state has already been dealt with, and are surprised to learn the agent line sits on a filing they have not yet seen. Switching inside that opening stretch means the $30 amendment, which is available in any month.

Whichever route applies, get the order right: appoint us first, file second, verify third, and let Bizee go last. An entity showing no agent on the Georgia record has bought itself trouble that no $30 filing will undo.
